Compliance Check
If you come on board as a client, the first thing I will do is find out EXACTLY what the taxing authorities have on you. I will find out what is owed, what needs to be filed, wage and income transcripts for tax prep, and all other pertinent documents.
I can often find out all this information on day one of our engagement. The taxpayer often does not know the extent of the problem. I get all the facts straight from the horse's mouth (the IRS) so to speak.
